One Nation. One People. One Destiny.
A mass-based democratic movement committed to unity, justice, equality, and people-centered governance in Liberia.
The Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) is a democratic political party founded to transform Liberia through accountable leadership, national reconciliation, and equal opportunity for all. We believe that power belongs to the people and that Liberia’s future depends on unity in diversity, transparency in governance, and service to the common good.
One Nation. One People. One Destiny.
A mass-based democratic movement committed to unity, justice, equality, and people-centered governance in Liberia.
We stand as the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC), a liberal democratic force rising from the streets and the villages to demand a reckoning with the future. We were founded on a simple, terrifying truth: that power belongs to the people, and without them, governance is a hollow ritual. We are dedicated to unwavering solidarity, to the hard work of reconciliation, and to an equality that is felt in the flesh, not just written in the law. Our mission is to build a Liberia where leadership is a burden of service, not a badge of status.

We are the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC)
The Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) was established to lead a new democratic and socio-economic order in Liberia—one founded on freedom, justice, equality, and respect for human dignity. The CDC is non-tribal, non-religious, and inclusive, welcoming all Liberians committed to national development and democratic change. Our mission is to build a united Liberia where citizens participate equally in governance and benefit fairly from the nation’s wealth.
- Democratic Governance: Upholding the rule of law, transparency, and accountable leadership to strengthen democratic institutions.
- People-Centered Development: Promoting inclusive economic growth, social justice, and equal opportunities for all citizens.
- National Unity & Progress: Fostering peace, unity, and collective responsibility to build a stable and prosperous nation.
