George Manneh Weah is the Political Leader of the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) and a central figure in the party’s history and growth. NATIONAL LEADERSHIP
National Executive Committee (NEC)
The National Executive Committee (NEC) is the principal policy-making and administrative body of the CDC between National Congresses. It provides political direction, oversees party operations, and ensures the implementation of decisions adopted by the National Congress.

Standard Bearer
Head and first partisan of the CDC, responsible for leading the party in national elections and articulating its vision, policies, and national direction.
Vice Standard Bearer
Assists and deputizes for the Standard Bearer and assumes leadership responsibilities in accordance with party procedures when required.
National Chairperson
Chief Executive Officer of the CDC, responsible for day-to-day administration, implementation of party decisions, and overall coordination of party structures.
Vice National Chairperson – Administration
Oversees internal administration, logistics, party assets, and organizational discipline.
Vice National Chairperson – Operations
Coordinates party mobilization, campaigns, membership activities, and operational strategies.
Vice National Chairperson – Finance & Investment
Manages party finances, fundraising, investments, and financial accountability.
National Secretary General
Head of the Secretariat, responsible for official communications, records, correspondence, and coordination of party organs.
Deputy National Secretary General
Assists the Secretary General and supports the administration of party records and operations.
National Treasurer
Responsible for receiving, accounting for, and reporting on party funds in accordance with financial regulations.
Director of Press & Public Relations
Manages official communications, public messaging, and media relations of the CDC.

Youth Wing Leadership
Provides leadership and direction for youth participation, mobilization, and leadership development within the CDC.
Women’s Wing Leadership
Advances women’s empowerment, political participation, and representation across all party structures.
Disabled Wing Leadership
Ensures inclusion, advocacy, and meaningful participation of persons with disabilities within the party.
Elder Council Leadership
Provides guidance, counsel, and moral leadership based on experience and institutional knowledge.

Each county of Liberia has a County Executive Committee (CEC) responsible for coordinating party activities, implementing policies, and mobilizing members at the county level.

Democratic and Transparent
CDC leaders at all levels are chosen through democratic elections conducted in accordance with the party’s constitution and regulations. Leadership is accountable to the membership and subject to review by the appropriate governing bodies.
